Erase una vez….el Mago de Oz

Hola amigas!! como están? espero que muy bien y disfrutando de los retos y tutoriales que con mucho cariño Latinas Arts and Crafts preparamos pensando en ti!!! Pues bien, el día de hoy Mo eligió el tema de hoy y este es El Mago de Oz, que es un cuento inspirado en una novela  de 1900 llamada en inglés The Wonderful Wizard of Oz de L. Frank Baum (Wikipedia). Y si vieron la entrega de los Oscares este pasado domingo habrán notado que Pink canto la canción "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" por el 75 aniversario de este musical.  

Hello friends! how are you? hope your are fine and enjoying the challenges and tutorials that Latinas Arts and Crafts have made for you with affection thinking in you! Well, today +Monica Torres  chose today's theme and this is The Wizard of Oz, a story of 1900 novel by L. Frank Baum (Wikipedia.) And if you saw the Oscars this past Sunday you may have noticed that Pink sang the song "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" for the 75th anniversary of this musical.

En esta ocasión estamos patrocinadas por My Graphico y Bugaboo digital stamps. Primero les mostrare el proyecto que hice usando un clip art de My Graphico y es el set Over the rainbow. Y como están muy de moda las tarjetas en caja pues yo no quise quedarme sin hacer la mía!!! Yo utilice un archivo .studio que lo baje gratuitamente del Blog de Ken´s Kreations, recorte los clip art y los pegue a la caja. Se ve linda no? a mi me encantooo!

This time we are sponsored by My Graphico and Bugaboo digital stamps. First I will show you a project that I did using a clipart from My Graphico the set Over the rainbow.. And since the card in the box are very fashionable this days I did mine! I used a. Studio file that you can download free at  Ken´s Kreations Blog. I printed and cut the clip art images and paste into the box. It looks cute no? 

Aqui se ve la caja cerrada y se notan casi todos los muñequitos. La verdad que me encanto esta tarjeta, se me hace divertida y fuera de serie.

Here is the box closed and almost all the images are noted. The truth is that I love this card, I find it fun and exceptional.

Ahora les presento mi siguiente proyecto utilizando una imagen de nuestro también patrocinador Bugaboo digital stamps. Este segundo proyecto es un tag.

Now let me show you my next project using a digi from our sponsor Bugaboo digital stamps. This is a tag.

Yo use Dottie Dorothy, la imprimi y coloree con spectrum, le puse Stickles para que le diera luz. Corte mi tag con la Cameo usando el archivo Tag, luego use papel decorado de Mosipis; use mi nuevo die de Memory Box llamado Woven Circle con papel decorado Mosipis, al final le puse unos sequins blancos que tenia desde hace muuuuchisimos años y para el toque final le puse perfect pearls en rosa. Que tal? Que les parecio mi tag? a mi me gusto mucho!!

I used Dottie Dorothy; printed on cardstock and colored with the spectrum. I put Stickles to it brightness. Cut my tag with the Cameo using the Tag file, then used Mosipis' pattern paper, used my new Memory Box die called Woven Circle with Mosipis' pattern paper too; then I put some white sequins that I had from many many years ago and the final touch  perfect pearls in pink. How about it? it really liked me!

Hola amigas escraperas aquí ando con otro post de inspiración para Color Paws! Como les dije en mi entrada anterior en esta ocasión les traería una estilo diferente...pues aquí esta lo prometido, hoy es Vintage Style!  Primero les voy a presentar esta tarjeta totalmente inspirada en Tim Holtz! Usando su técnica Archival Resist resultó esta hermosa tarjeta con finta parisina. 

Use papel que se llama Shimmery White que es brilloso y con tinta Archival use varios sellos para hacer el primer fondo; después use distress ink para hacer el fondo color Vintage, pero lo lindo de esta técnica es que la tinta Archival sobresale de la tinta distress. Y al final use la tinta StazOn negra para el toque final con el sentimiento, los adornitos y la torre. El banner  y el sentimiento Felicidades es del set Feliz Cumpleaños; las mariposas del set Bordes II; los corazones de Con Todo el Corazón y la Torre Eiffel del setVintage 15. Que les parece? a mi me encanto el resultado!

Les traigo otra tarjeta, vaya que me inspire hoy. También en el estilo Vintage y aquí use también una corazón de madera (los cuales también puedes encontrar en la tienda). Esta me encanta como para un Aniversario y para una boda. 

Aquí use la pareja de pajaritos del set Vintage 15 y el corazón del set Feliz Cumpleaños pero aquí use la técnica de heat embossing. Estampe los pajaritos y corazones en toda la base de la tarjeta con tinta VersaMark, luego use polvo blanco y al final lo seque con la pistola de calor.  Después pinte un corazón de madera del set Corazones con un marcador con glitter, este es de la marca American Crafts y lo puse como para enmarcar un par de pajaritos.

El sentimiento es del set Tags con la misma técnica de heat embossing pero en cardstock negro. Aquí use dos sellos, mas abajo les enseño mi técnica para que quede centrado.

Primero ponen el sello del tag o marco.

Luego ponen el block de acrílico y arriba el sentimiento que van a usar, se aseguran que entra por completo dentro del marco. Tener la base (el primer sellos abajo) les permite ver que quede bien centrado el sello. Como notaran el sello felicidades es totalmente recto pero como son de material moldeable se pueden manejar como lo necesitemos.

Lo voltean y se aseguran que quede bien centrado para que al momento de estampar no se encime o quede por fuera. 

Por ultimo use un sentimiento por dentro de la tarjeta y este es del mismo set Vintage 15 .

Como ven los sellos son versátiles, no son exclusivos para un tema en especifico, nos da variedad para utilizarlos es cuestión de poner nuestra imaginación a volar. Espero que les guste este par de tarjetas y nos vemos para la siguiente ! con otro estilo también!!!

Una cajita para regalar

Hola!! Como están? espero que bien! Hoy venimos con lo que sera el miércoles de tutorial en Latinas Arts and Crafts. Hoy les traemos la intepretación y mañana miércoles el tutorial en el blog. Fanny fue quien le toco hacer tutorial y aquí esta mi interpretación.

Como verán estamos patrocinados por Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet, yo elegí para este reto el digi Chef, la colore con Copics. El tutorial que Fanny nos puso esta fascilísimo les encantara!!! Para la base use cardstock color beige y le puse en los bordes distress ink color tea dye. Para la tapa use uno de mis papeles Mosipis.

Use una blonda que me pusieron cuando fui a cenar a Mimi´s Café, le puse glimmer mist chalkboard de Tatered Angels, en vivo se ve hermoso. Quise dar un look Shabby Chick, creo que lo logre. Puse flores de fieltro que me obsequio mi amiga Marce de un intercambio, corazones rojos, unas medias perlas en color durazno. El digi lo delinee con Copics, los lentes me encantaron!

Le muestro mi primer moño hecho con la herramienta de Unity Stamp Company y quedo perfecto!!!!! Como toque final le puse esa pinzita con el corazón de madera.

Mi hobby favorito a parte del scrapbook

Hola amigas! Hoy venimos con el Reto No. 3 en Latinas Arts and Crafts, ya vieron las ganadoras del Reto # 21? no, pues pasen a ver quienes fueron las ganadoras aqui. Hoy les traemos un reto que les va a encantar porque nos van a mostrar sus hobbies si, ya sabemos que el scrapbook es su hobbie pero queremos saber que otros hobbies tienen.  Yo les platico que otro hobby que tengo es la repostería, si aunque no me he metido de lleno a ese hobby pero me gusta.

Today we bring you a challenge that you will love because we are going to show our hobbies; we know that the scrapbook is your hobby but we  would like to know what others hobbies you have. My other hobby that I have is baking, yes, even if I am not fully embraced in this hobby but I like it.

Así es que hice este tag con el sobre con mi Silhouette. La imagen que use es de Kenny K llamada Chef digi stamp la coloree con prismacolor en color gris, solo por la orilla.  El banner lo hice con mis sellos nuevos de Color Paws , use el set  Feliz cumpleaños lo estampe en papel decorado le puse Jute Twine y listo.

So I made this rectangle coin envelope with tag with my Silhouette Cameo. The digi is from Kenny K which is called Chef digi stamp. I used the color gray of my prismacolor pen, just at the edge. I made the banner with my new Color Paws stamps; I used set Happy Birthday stamp set on pattern paper I put Jute Twine and ready to rock!

Use mis sellos de Color Paws el set Tags use el marco, puse dentro el sentimiento y le puse Stickles Frosted Lace.

I used my stamps of  Color Paws for the sentiment too, the stamp set called Tags, I used the frame and inside stamped the sentiment which means" Made specially for you", added Stickles, Frosted Lace to the frame and the pan.

El otro proyecto que hice es una tarjeta de Pac Man,. siii soy fanática de este juego. Use cardstock negro y corte con mi Silhouette Cameo los archivos que son patrocinados por Designs on Cloud 9, yo use el set Awesome 80s.

The other project that I made for this challenge is a Pac Man Card, yes! I'm super fan if this game. I used black cardstock for the base of the card. I cut the Pac Man, the ghost and the dots with my silhouette Cameo and this files come in the set Awesome 80s of Designs on Cloud 9 who is our other kind sponsor.

Por dentro le puse un sentimiento del set de Lawn Fawn llamado Hello Friend.

Inside I used the only set the I own from Lawn Fawn which is Hello Friend.

Sorpresa!!!

Hola amigas! Aquí de nuevo con mas inspiración e ideas para ustedes. Como se habrán dado cuenta lo mio, lo mio es "limpio y sencillo" o "Clean & Simple", me gusta mucho y se me da, aunque ya estoy pensando en mi siguiente proyecto de inspiración y sera otro estilo, ya lo verán! Pues bien hoy les traigo esta tarjeta de cumpleaños. Use los set  Bordes II y Feliz cumpleaños. Tiene diseño afuera y dentro de la tarjeta. Los globos son del set  Feliz cumpleaños  los estampe con Versamark en cardstock blanco, les puse polvo blanco, lo seque con la heat tool (o secadora) y encima con una esponja le puse tinta de Hero Arts en color Field Greens y Soft Pool. El hilo o los puntitos son del set  Bordes II y lo puse en color Cup O´Joe de Hero Arts también.

Hello friends! Here I am again with more inspiration and ideas for you. As you may have noticed my thing or style is "Clean & Simple", I like it a lot and I do okay with it, but I'm already thinking about my next project and will be another style, you'll see! Well today, I bring you this birthday card. I used the stamps set Bordes II and Feliz cumpleaños. The card has design outside and inside of it. The balloons are from the set Feliz cumpleaños which I stamped with Versamark ink on white cardstock; put them white embossing powder; dried it with the heat tool and with a sponge I put over ink from Hero Arts which are Soft Pool and Field Greens. The thread or the dots are from the set Bordes II with the O'Joe Cup Hero Arts ink.

Por dentro le puse un globo en forma de corazón y use la misma técnica. Complemente los dos sentimientos el de afuera que dice sorpresa y el de adentro que dice Feliz cumpleaños con el mismo color Cup O´Joe.

Inside of the card I put a heart shaped balloon and use the same technique. I made the two sentiments complemented the outside that says surprise and inside that says Happy Birthday with the same color O'Joe Cup Hero Arts Ink.

Aquí pueden ver de mas cerca los globos embozados. A mi me gusto mucho el resultado espero que a ustedes también!
