Tutorial para LA&C

Hola amigas!!!!hoy me toca presentarles a mi un tutorial para @Latinas Arts and Crafts y por supuesto que es un tutorial super sencillo, porque a quien le gusta hacer tarjetas de navidad muy elaboradas? a todas!! pero cuando tienes que hacer en masa o en gran cantidad tarjetas muy elaboradas, seguro terminamos pero para el próximo año.

Lo que haremos sera in arbolito con retazos de papel. Estoy segura que tienes muchos retazos guardados, es momento de sacarlos. 

Ocuparemos papel para cortar la silueta del arbolito, base para tarjeta, retazos de papel cortado en 1/4 de pulgada, lapis y pegamento. 

Vamos a recortar arbolitos, yo solo hice in triangulo de 2" de ancho por 3" de alto, pero tu puedes hacer el arbol a tu gusto o inlcuso cortarlo con la cameo o con in suaje, es totalmente a tu gusto.

Vas a ponerle pegamento al arbolito, y encima vas a pegar las tiras de papel, asegurate que no queden espacios entre las tiras, que queden bien pegadas entre ellas. 

Despues vas a cortar el papel sobrante. 

Y listo! ya tienes tu arbolito!!

Corte en papel Kraft unos cuadritos de 3/4" x 1/2".

Luego, estampe el sentimiento en tods las tarjetas.

Y aqui esta el resultado!! 4 tarjetas en un par de horas!!

Como notaran en las fotos, cada árbol es diferente, pegue las tiras de papel en diferente dirección.

Cookies with a digital stamp

Hello crafty friends!! I want to share this Paint Your Own Cookies that I made for my daughter’s Harvest Fest with you!! As some of you know, this is my second hobby, baking.

My daughter’s teacher requested some crafts for the kids to make at the time of their Harvest Fest, what better than PYO cookie as a craft, they painted the cookies (craft think required) and then they ate the cookies.

I made the cookie dough and used a PYO cookie cutter from Cookie Face, you can find her here Cookie Face and the cookie cutters here.

Then, time for royal icing!!! The Tipless Piping Bags are from Holly Foxy, recommended 100%.

Here is the final view!!!  26 PYO cookies!!!!

The pumpkin is a digital stamp from Koala T Crafts called Gratitude Turns What We Have Into Enough, I used the app Lucinda in my cell phone to have the image over the cookie and hand paint the pumpkin.  I used an edible marker. I followed the tutorial from Klickitat Street.

I love the result, my daughter’s teacher was please and the kids…. well, what can I tell you !!!

I printed the instructions and placed them on the back of the cookie.

Interpretación del Tutorial # 17 Caja para tarjeta de regalo LA&C

Hola amigas!! hoy es martes de interpretaciones en Latinas Arts and Crafts! y hoy me toco a mi proponer el tutorial, el cual espero les guste y le sea de  gran utilidad! Hoy estamos patrocinados por Rhoda Designs quien muy amablemente nos dio Stack of Tea Cups y Puppy and Bird para usar en este tutorial. Yo elegi  Stack of Tea Cups.

Coloree las tazas con Copics e hice la técnica "Paper Sculping" que mi amiga cibernetica Ginny me enseño a hacer y me encanto, porque pareciera que las tazas realmente se apilan. Ademas que me parecen perfectas con mi cajita porta tarjeta de regalo pues le puse una tarjeta de Starbucks.

Aso se ve por dentro; le puedes poner chocolates, galletas, etc  para que se vea linda. Y esta tarjeta de Starbucks quedo perfecta porque hasta con los colores combino. 

 Aqui se ve mas de cerca el la hendidura para la tarjeta, queda perfecta!!

Cake box surprise Tutorial for SDS

Hello friends!! I´m so happy!! this is my first post and tutorial for SnapDragon Snippets which will be at 3under3andmore Blog. Today I will show you how to assemble the Cake Box Surprise that you can find at the Silhouette Online Store. This is how the file will look at your computer screen.

I started with the lid. Fold all the tabs and identify the parts of the lid. On the white part add adhesive and fold up on each one.

It will look like this. Add glue to the side tabs and adhere them to make the box.  

Add glue to the tabs to adhere square piece on the top. See the picture below. 

Add adhesive to this part (with the square in the center) and put it inside to cover the tabs. Your are going to make the same step with the base. 

The adhere the pattern paper to the lid. Cover the 5 sides of the box.  

Insert the tabs of the square pieces and glue down the tabs.  

Do the same on each side to make the box. And add adhesive to the bottom part and fold it up.

Add glue to all the tabs and put this two pieces together. Make sure that the folded part goes up. On the bottom you will have 4 tabs, which makes the bottom part of the box. In this step you can glue the bottom pieces; the square one and the one with the square in the center. It´s going to be a little tricky but with a little patience you can make it.  

Add glue to the tabs and secure them.  

And here it is!  

A lovely box to put a cake pop, lollipop, rose, or anything you like inside as a surprise! I regret not having a cake pop when I finished the tutorial.

Tutorial # 5. Decora una vela con una imagen digital

Hola amigas!! que les pareció las interpretaciones? increíbles verdad?!!! pues aquí esta el tutorial, espero que les guste y sobre todo lo encuentren útil. Yo aprendí a hacerlo de este blog A path of paper. Primer paso es reunir todos los materiales. El papel china o de seda tiene que ser blanco.  Si no tienen pistola de calor para embossar pueden usar pistola de calor para el cabello (tip de Marghe).

El siguiente paso es medir la vela para saber el tamaño que necesitaremos del digi stamp. También pueden usar sellos de madera o transparentes, con esos sería mas fácil porque se evitan el paso de impresión, pero me gusto la idea de hacerlo con una imagen digital porque así podemos tener variedad de imágenes.

Siguiente paso es imprimir tu digi stamp.

El papel china lo pegas con adhesivo re movible o tape sobre una hoja blanca para que no se mueva al momento de imprimir.

Coloreas tu digi con lo que tengas, colores, Copics, Spectrum, distress ink, etc, el cabello yo lo coloree con distress ink y el vestido con copics.

Recortas la imagen y la despegas de la hoja blanca. Solo usarás la imagen impresa en el papel de china.

Otro tip de Marghe fue que si no tienes papel encerado puedes usar papel pergamino o papel vegetal. He visto que en las carnicerías envuelven la carne en un papel Kraft que tiene cera, ese también pueden usar. Que el lado brilloso o encerado quede de frente a la imagen.

No necesitas mucho tiempo de aplicar el calor, porque si lo haces se te empezará a deshacer la cera.

Todo este tutorial no te llevara mas de 30 minutos hacerlo, a mi me tomo una hora porque tuve que tomar fotos para hacerles este tutorial. Así es que es algo muy útil y fácil de realizar.

Yo me quede enamorada del digi que hice una tarjeta para acompañar la vela.
