Anything goes with color

Hi friends!  Welcome back for another fun challenge at 613 Avenue Create  and we have another "anything goes" challenge with a color twist  because of the Earth Day. You have to use earht tones in your project. We can't wait to see what you create this week!

Hola amigas! Bienvenidas otra vez a otro reto divertido en 613 Avenue Create y tenemos otro reto de 'todo se vale" con un cambio en el color,  para este proyecto tienes que usar colores tierra, beige, cafe, naranja y verde. No podemos esperar a ver tus creaciones para esta semana!

I made a Tent Fold Card (there you can find the tutorial, but it is with European measurements so I made one with american measurements). I used Kraft paper, brown - orange cardstock from The Recollections which I embossed. The sentiment of Unity Stamp of the week.

Hice una Tent Fold Card (ahi pueden encontrar el tutorial, pero esta hecho con medidas europeas asi es que me tome la tarea de hacer uno con medidas americanas). Use pape kraft para la base, el papel anaranjado-cafe es The Recollections el cual texturize.. El sentimiento es de Unity Stamp of the week.

I chose the digi stamp called Joanie the flower child; I printed her on watercolor paper; colored her with prismacolors; I used gamsol to blend the colors; I put perfect peals at the center of the flowers, at her necklace, the band at her hair and the arm and here she is!!!!

Yo elegi la estampa digital llamada Joanie the flower child, la imprimi en watercolor paper, la pinte con prismacolors y use el gamsol para difuminar los colores. Al final le puse perfect pearls en las flores, en su collar, la cinta del cabello y la de su brazo .... y aqui esta!

This is the first piece of cardstock, for the stranding part of the card (from back to front). It measure 11.5 length and  4.5 width, you are going to use your Martha Stewart scoaring table, and score at 1", 5.5" and 10.5" (as you can see in the picture below)

Esta es la primer pieza de papel, la que va parada en la tarjeta (de atras hacia adelate). Este mide 11.5 de largo y 4.5 de ancho; vamos a usar nuestra tabla para marcar a 1", 5.5" y 10.5" (como pueden ver en la foto de abajo).

The second piece measures 8.5" length and 4.5" width; you are going to score it at 2.1", 4.2" and 6.3" (as you can see in the picture below).

La segunda pieza mide 8.5" de largo y 4.5" de ancho; vamos a marcar a 2.1", 4.2" y 6.3" (como se ve en la foto de abajo).

You are going to fold as the picture below.

You are going to ensamble the card like in the picture below (picture taken from the original site of the tutorial)

The last piece that goes in front of the card can measure as you desire, mine is 3.5"x3", there is where I put the digi stamp.

La ultima pieza que va enfrente de la tarjeta puede medir como tu lo desees, la mia mide 4"x4"; que es donde puse el sello digital.

Hola amigas: pues les tenemos un nuevo reto en Latinas en America, y el reto es hacer un mini album, y yo llegue un poco tarde (Andrea a estado enfermita de gripe, y no esta durmiendo bien, por lo tanto esta despierta y no me deja sentarme a escrapear : )) pero aqui esta!!!!

Hello friends: We have another challenge at Latinas en America, and the challenge is to make a mini album, I’m late with my project (Andrea got the flu, she wasn’t sleeping good, so is been awake, I can’t do scraping while she is awake), but here it is!!

 

La base del mini es de chipobard de la marca The Recollections, lo forre con papel decorado de la marca DCWV The Crafty Stack que me parecio perfecto para este mini (que fue de los primeros stacks que compre), ya veran porque.

The base of the mini is chipboard from The recollections, I put pattern paper on it from the DCWV, The Crafty Stack which is perfect for this mini, you will se why (btw is of the very first stack of pattern papers that I bought)!

In my garden at Sunshine Mail

Hello friends: Today's challenge a Sunshine Mail Challenge Blog is "In my Garden". So, you have to do a project related to the Garden. This challenge goes through May 1st. 

  

Hola amigas: El reto de hoy en Sunshime Mail Challenge Blog es "En mi Jardin". Para participar tienen que hacer un proyecto relacionado cel jardin. Este reto dura hasta el 1o de Mayo.

For this challenge I made a Diamond Origami Fold Card, I really like the result and it is very easy to do. In front of the card I put a yellow butterfly, a green flower and the sentiment which is from Unity Stamp of the week.

Para este reto hice una tarjeta llamada Diamond Origami Fold Card. realmente me gusto el resultado, muy facil y rapido de hacer. En la parte de enfrente le puse una mariposa amarilla y una flor verde, el sentimiento es de Unity Stamp of the week.

 I colored the digi stamp with prismacolors, put stickles on the center of the flowers and some glossy accents  where the mud is to give a wet effect. Around the digi stamp I put washi tape.

Pinte el sello digital con prismacolors, puse stickles en el centro de las flores y glossy accents donde se ve el lodo para dar un efecto mojado. Alrededor del sello digital puse washi tape.

Ese es nuestro reto de esta semana, cualquier cosa que te haga pensar en Primavera: jardines, bicicletas, sol, nubes, lluvia, etc. No podemos esperar a ver tus creaciones para esta semana!

 

I made a trifold card (you can find the tutorial here trifold card tutorial), and used the shabby chick technique. I used Kraft paper, K&Company pattern paper (life’s Journey) and brown cardstock. The sentiment is from CTMH.

Reciclando en Latinas en America

Hola amigas: pues les tenemos un nuevo reto en Latinas en America, y el reto es hacer un proyecto reciclando, es decir tienes que usar algo reciclado ent u proyecto. Yo hice una tarjeta que se llama Center Step Card (dale click y te lleva al tutorial), lo que use para reciclar fue el Doily, fui a tomar cafe a un restaurante y lo pusieron en mi taza, en cuanto lo vi dije "este me lo llevo, en algo lo usare". Le puse homemade glimmer mist rojo, azul y naranja. A mi me encanto!!!

Hello friends: We have another challenge at Latinas en America, and the challenge is to make a project recycling! Yes, you have to include something to recycle.I made a Center Step Card, I recycled the Doily; I went to have a coffee at Mimi's Cafe and when I saw it I said " Ihave to take it, I'll give it some use in my crafts". I put on it homemade glimmer mist (blue, orange and red). I love the result!!!

I made this shaped card with spellbinders, cardstock in solid colors. I colored the digi stamp with prismacolors; I put stickles to give some sparkle to the flower.
